X1T Transmitter
X1T Basic Setup
Start by turning the transmitter on. Just slide the Power switch on the side of the XPro and you should see the screen on with all the information of groups, modes, and current channel.
Set the Channel
Setting the channel on the X1T is pretty straight forward. Just follow the next steps:

Press the CH/OK button and the channel number starts blinking on the screen.

Rotate the wheel until you see the channel number you’re going to use

Press the CH/OK button to confirm your selection.
As you can see in the image, I set mine to channel 9.
Set the ID
The next step is to set the ID number, which you can do following these steps:

Press and hold the CH/OK button until the screen changes and displays Fn, 00 and 00. You are now on the Custom Functions menu

Rotate the wheel until you find Fn 12.

Press the GR button and the number below Fn 12 should start blinking.

Rotate the wheel to set the value. If you set it to 00 you’ll turn ID off.

Press the GR button to confirm your selection.

Press CH/OK again to go back to the regular screen.
Please remember: the ID number should be the same you set in the flash. If you decided not to use ID or some flashes on your setup don’t have the ID function, set it to Off.
As you can see in the image, I set ID to 18.
Select and Configure Groups
The transmitter is ready to send orders to the flash groups. Now, we need to decide the orders we want to send and to which group.
Select a Group

You can select a group by rotating the wheel. The selected group is the one in the center row, next to the white triangle at the left of the screen.
Set Group Mode

Now you can change the group mode, or turn it off by pressing the MODE button repeatedly.

The group will jump between the group being Off, in TTL mode or in Manual mode.
Set Group Power
Whether the group is in Manual or TTL mode, you can adjust its power setting by following the next steps:

Press the GR button.

Rotate the wheel to change power settings or flash exposure compensation (FEC).

Press the GR or CH/OK buttons to confirm your selection.

If the selected group is in TTL mode, you should see the Flash Exposure Compensation (FEC) changing between -3 (under-exposed three stops) and +3 (over-exposed three stops). Every click of the wheel changes power by 0.3 stops.

If the selected group is in Manual mode, you should see the power changing between 1/1 (full power) and 1/128 (8 stops down). Every click of the wheel changes power by 0.3 stops.
I set group B to Manual mode and 1/16 power, as you can see in the image.
Set Group Zoom
Adjusting the flash’ zoom remotely requires you to use a Custom Function. Follow the next steps to set it:

Press and hold the CH/OK button until the screen changes and displays Fn, 00 and 00. You are now on the Custom Functions menu

Rotate the wheel until you find Fn 02.

Press the GR button and the number below Fn 02 should start blinking.

Rotate the wheel to set the value. If you set it to – – the transmitter won’t send a Zoom setting. You will probably hear the flash zooming in or out.

Press the GR button to confirm your selection.

Press CH/OK again to go back to the regular screen.
Please notice that Fn 02 changes the zoom setting on all groups, not only the one you had selected.
As you can see in the last image, I set my zoom to 23mm (35mm equivalent).
Testing
Let’s test! If you press the tester button, labeled TEST on the X1T, the remote flash should fire.
