A Major Setback
On March 30th, I had a major setback. Here’s the whole story.
As you probably know or suspected, I don’t write on this blog or shoot professionally, yet. I’m an IT project manager and on that day, March 30th 2017, I was fired from my job. It didn’t have to do with my performance, it’s just the project I was working on came to an end. On my way home I thought I would have more time to shoot and write. However, when I arrived home I found out my apartment had been broken into. Some thieves stole a big portion of my gear…
After reporting the robbery to the authorities I felt miserable for a few days. After a while, I decided to focus on moving on. I need to figure out a way to keep shooting and sharing content. The robbery was a major setback, but not a life sentence.
I’m still working on finding solutions but I think this is an opportunity to share my experience.
I’ll keep you posted on the progress I make on this journey, sharing with you everything I learn along the way. In the mean time, subscribe to my newsletter, follow me on social media and share this post. I’m pretty sure I’m not the only one learning from an experience like this.
Remember: keep learning, keep shooting.
